There is dazzling array of dance styles of Middle Eastern Dances. We dance:

Raqs Sharki
This means "Dance of the East". It refers to the classical bellydance from Egypt. Let yourself be abducted to the world of One Thousand and One Nights!

Dance with the
veil
The veil asks for soft and gentle handling. It floats and spins through the air and draws beautiful figures when guided by the arm and the hand of a skilled dancer.

Drum solo The time to show off! Interpreting the sounds of the darbouka or tabla (drum), the hip shimmies and the belly vibrates. This groovy dance usually is the hightlight of every performance.

Arabic Pop Raqs sharki goes modern. This upbeat and modern version of classical bellydance is usually danced to a current hit from the Orient.

With zills/
finger cymbals
To know the rhythms is an absolut must! With her zills (tiny metal disks) the dancer interprets the music and sets her own accents.

Dance
with the cane /
Raqs Assaya
The cane can be used for traditional saiidi as well as for modern pieces. It originates from the south of Egypt (Assuan and Luxor) and imitated a stick fight among men (Tahteeb). This dance was adapted by the women who handle the stick more playfully. The costume is a neck-to-foot, close-fitting garb with wide trumpet sleeves.

Arabic Flamenco Spain meets Arabia. A dazzling fusion of the proud Spaniard with the flirtatious bellydancer.

Isis Wings Dance with the wide wings of the goddess Isis. These pleated veils bestow a dreamlike quality on every dance.

Dance with the
featherfan
A fantasy dance with featherfans, inspired by Egyptian dancers from the first half of the twentieth century.

Dance with light A mystic and mysterious fantasy dance for all those who love to play with the fire...

Gypsy dance The fierce gypsy woman captured in the heat of the moment. Very expressive and passionate.

Khaleegy This dance originates from the gulf region. Also known as "hair dance", this group dance is performed in wide, colorful and sumptuously embroidered garments.

Melaya Leff A very coquettish dance from Alexandria. The melaya is a black cloth decorated with golden or silvery and crocket work. The women use the melaya to seek protection from looks of strangers - but only just a little bit. Beneath the melaya they wear short, daring dresses with frills and high heels.

Tribal Fusion Originating from archaic tribal dances with a dash of modern dance and a sprinkle of indian temple dance. Just mix in what you like! Very unique!

Dance with the
sword
The dance with the sabre is amazonlike and dramatic.

Raks Shamadan The Shamadan is a chandelier which is carried on the head. Traditionally danced at weddings.
